and Punk counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Beliy!
Beliy tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Punk trying to control but Beliy is having none of it.
Punk wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Punk controlling the position easily from mount.
Beliy has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Punk has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Beliy is defending well but eventually Punk manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Beliy has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

After the fight, CM Punk was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Beliy lands with a kick to the ribs.
Carlos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Beliy won't allow Carlos to get back to his feet.

Carlos wants to stand and escape but Beliy is having none of it.
Beliy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beliy chips away with some ground and pound.
Carlos is wriggling around but Beliy manages to pass to half guard.

Beliy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Carlos defends it well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beliy connects with a nice short shot to Carlos's temple. #SUB#
Carlos throws strikes from the bottom but it's allowed Beliy to grab hold of an arm and go for an armbar! It's tiiiiiiiiight! Carlos is forced to tap! This fight is all over!

Beliy leaves Weaver with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Weaver shoots in and drives through. Beliy sprawls well.
Dmitriy Beliy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darce Weaver.
