DeMarinni throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stewart has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. DeMarinni missing with a left hand there. #R1# Griffin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stewart is fending him off so far but Griffin persists. Nope, Stewart circles away and we're back to standing. Stewart misses with a straight right. Griffin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Griffin. Stewart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Griffin. Stewart looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gomer Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stewart swinging wildly here.

#R1# Stewart cracks Padilla with an open hand slap.#CUT2# It looks like Wilmer Padilla has been cut. Stewart digs a good body shot into Padilla's ribs. A punch lands to the side of Padilla 's head but he takes it in his stride. Stewart thuds a left hand into Padilla's body. Padilla is breathing heavily. Stewart ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Stewart moves in close and cracks Padilla with a massive right hand! Padilla, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Stewart!
