We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Vanna has a closed guard, preventing Kittel from standing up. Vanna is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kittel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vanna works some decent striking defense from the bottom. That was a close second round but I would say that Zack Kittel will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Vanna fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. No luck for Vanna with that takedown attempt. Kittel fails with an attempt to clinch.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kittel throws a lazy right hand but Vanna sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Vanna shoots in for a takedown but Kittel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Vanna takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kittel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vanna as he avoids it easily.

Kittel takes a shot right to the bread basket. Madwell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A jab from Madwell finds it's way through Kittel's defenses. Kittel tries to move into range but Madwell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Madwell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kittel. Madwell lands a nice hook to Kittel's body. Kittel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kittel looks for a takedown but Madwell sprawls well. Madwell connects with a body shot.#T1##CL2# Madwell tries to keep at a distance but Kittel has taken the fight into the clinch. Kittel is staying tight to Johnson's torso, preventing him from escaping. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU2# Kittel decides to take the fight back to the feet. A nice combination there by Johnson.
Johnson with a hook.#ROC# Kittel is rocked! Kittel walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kittel limp body while Johnson jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

#R1# Dangle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kittel swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've been informed that Dangle has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Dangle throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Dangle throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dangle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kittel's head backwards. Both fighters circling a little - Dangle finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. #CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Dangle tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jake Stevens and Zack Kittel. Stevens comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Nash - "Stir It Up". The crowd seem to be enjoying Kittel's choice of entrance music: Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Jake Stevens! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Zack Kittel! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kittel forces Stevens back against the cage and clinches. Kittel is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stevens is defending well. Kittel pulls guard. Stevens wants to control from the top but Kittel keeps moving.
