Plumme misses with a straight right. Kennedy fires out a quick counter leg kick but Plumme just manages to avoid it. Plumme fails in his attempt to clinch. Plumme tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kennedy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Plumme has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kennedy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Chris Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Plumme takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kennedy throws a quick inside leg kick. Kennedy feints and then cracks Plumme's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Plumme down. Plumme on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Plumme tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Plumme throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It looked like Kennedy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Plumme tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kennedy misses with a low kick. Plumme tries to clinch but Kennedy is having none of it. Plumme tries to clinch there but Kennedy circles away.

Kennedy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Plumme's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A decent looking cross lands there for Kennedy. Plumme takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A head kick by Plumme misses and Kennedy counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A jab from Kennedy finds it's way through Plumme's defenses. Plumme tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kennedy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kennedy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Plumme has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.#T1# Kennedy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Plumme missing with a left hand there. #R1##CL2# Plumme tries to keep at a distance but Woodly has taken the fight into the clinch. Woodly throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Woodly lands a hook to the side of the head. A left hand lands to the body for Woodly.
Plumme looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Woodly lands with a short head shot on the inside. A shot in the inside from Woodly. Still in the clinch, Woodly scores with a nice short uppercut. Nice body punch from Woodly. Woodly lands with a left to the head. Plumme is trying to maintain a safe position but Woodly gets an underhook and turns Plumme into the ropes. Woodly scores with a shot to the side of Plumme's head. #CUT2# It looks like Gregor Plumme has been cut. Plumme is breathing heavily. Woodly lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Plumme's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A short right from Woodly on the inside. #ROC2# Plumme is rocked! Woodly cracks Plumme with a nice body shot. Oh Plumme is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Plumme's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Woodly creates a bit of distance and cracks Plumme with a big uppercut! Plumme goes down! The referee pushes Woodly away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Plumme make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Woodly takes it!
