Winters on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ajvarez throwing shots but Winters is blocking nicely. Ajvarez throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Winters to regain full guard. #R1# Winters shoots in for a takedown but Dunn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A nice side step and Dunn releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Dunn lands the left hand. Lawrence Dunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dunn scores with a jab to the body. Winters is looking to clinch but Dunn is avoiding it.
Dunn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dunn cracks Winters with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dunn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Winters walks straight into a right hand from Dunn - that's dropped him! Dunn jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Winters from any more punishment! Winters complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Winters keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully. #TD2# Kotze has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Winters regains guard immediately. Kotze stands and throws Winters's legs to the side, diving into side control. Winters might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2# Kotze tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kotze has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Winters trying to remain calm as Kotze controls from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winters managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kotze.
