Petrs shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chavez sprawls well. Chavez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Petrs gets slowly back to his feet.

Chavez lands a strong strike to the head of Petrs. That's dazed him! Chavez looking to finish here. Petrs is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Chavez lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Bur tries for a takedown but Petrs circles away easily
and Petrs counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Petrs lands a two punch combo.

Bur closes the distance and clinches up with Petrs, looking for a takedown. Bur pushes Petrs against the cage but Petrs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bur has an Americana. Petrs didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bur is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bur hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Severson swats away the attempt to clinch by Petrs.
Severson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petrs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Severson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Petrs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A looping hook to the body misses from Severson. Petrs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Petrs went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Petrs leaves King with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Petrs unleashes a big counter combination but King bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
King closes the distance and clinches up with Petrs, looking for a takedown. King pushes Petrs against the cage but Petrs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Munk King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petrs throws a right and a left that King avoids nicely. #TD#
King closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Petrs manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

King throwing shots but Petrs is blocking nicely.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall.
King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Petrs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1#
Petrs is trying to stand up here but King is controlling him well.
King tries to pass the half guard into mount. Petrs knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. #SUB#
King has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Petrs defend it? King steps over the head and cranks it - Petrs is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for King!
