Williams misses with a double jab.
Hays throws a combination that misses and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hays shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Williams sprawls well. Williams wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hays gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams misses with the combination.

Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hays moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Williams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A punch combination from Williams misses. Hays seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Hays tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #T2# Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hays tries to clinch up and Williams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hays is trying hard to land a takedown here. Williams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Hays on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benny Hays. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hays throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease. Williams throws a counter combo. Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.#T3# Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hays lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hays's head backwards. Williams throws a head kick but Hays moves out of range.
Hays defending well as Williams loads up on a big left hand. Hays tries to counter by clinching up but Williams breaks away and moves out of range. Hays takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
#ROC2# Hays is rocked! Hays drops his hands for a split second and Williams immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Hays face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Williams follows up with a right hand that knocks Hays into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
