Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jack Hall and Himmy Heen. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Himmy Heen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Jack Hall! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Himmy Heen! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Hall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Heen or perhaps it was just good defense by Hall, which made it look bad. Hall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Hall (4) vs (0) Heen Heen is looking to reverse the position. Hall tries for a kimura but Heen is defending well. Hall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Heen, who protects the arm well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Heen has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hall but great work by Heen. Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Hall (4) vs (4) Heen Hall tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Heen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hall is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Heen off and has taken his back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Hall (8) vs (4) Heen Heen showing good submission defense here.
Hall controls the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Heen tries to roll but Hall sticks to his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall trying to control. Hall gets his hands free as Heen looks to control. Heen turns into Hall and is now in his guard.
Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Hall (8) vs (6) Heen Heen trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hall pulls Heen in close to prevent any damage. Hall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Hall (10) vs (6) Heen

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hall is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hall moves nicely into side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Hall (13) vs (6) Heen Hall tries for a kimura but Heen is defending well. Hall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Heen, who protects the arm well. Hall is looking to take a break and control but Heen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall has hold of Heen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Heen seems comfortable defending it but Hall has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Heen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Heen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hall couldn't care less - he's delighted!
