Sloppy strikes from Foster. Those never looked like landing.
Routh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Foster to score with a decent uppercut.
Foster fails to land with a series of punches.
Foster fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Routh throws a fast counter high kick but Foster manages to duck under it in time.
Routh misses with a head kick.
Foster throws a body shot but no joy.
Foster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Routh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Foster lands with a straight right. Routh didn't see that one coming.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Routh jabbing away but nothing is landing.

It looked like Foster was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Oh Foster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cory Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Routh! Foster is out on his feet! Routh rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Foster is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Foster is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Mcfadden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Foster.
Mcfadden walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mcfadden moves forwards but Foster connects with a nice, crisp jab.#CL2#
Foster clinches up with Mcfadden and pushes him back against the cage.#TD2#
Foster turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!#ES#
Mcfadden bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Some wild striking there from Mcfadden.
Foster's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mcfadden under the eye.

Foster closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mcfadden! Foster dives in looking to finish! Mcfadden is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Foster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Foster wants it to stay on the feet.
Olson looks for a takedown but Foster sprawls well.#TD2#

Olson is staying active underneath Foster, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Olson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Foster's waist but Foster gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Olson off to one side.

Olson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Foster dives into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Foster works to advance to full mount. Olson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The referee warns Olson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Foster is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Olson defends it well.
Well, if Foster is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait. #T3#
Foster uses his free foot to push down on Olson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Olson.
