#R1##CL# Takamura fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Riggins, pushing him back against the cage. Riggins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Takamura avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Riggins jumps guard but Takamura stands there with Riggins around his waist. Riggins gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Riggins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Takamura walks away with a smile on his face. Riggins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mamoru Takamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Riggins. Takamura moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Riggins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Syet scores with a jab. Bue Syet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Syet throws out a powerful jab. Riggins on the wrong end of a nice hook. Syet misses with a wild combination.
Riggins changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A cross from Syet lands. Syet lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Syet clobbers Riggins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. This has been an exciting period of action! Riggins tries to move into range but Syet moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Riggins avoids a punch combination nicely.

#R1##CL# Magumbo closes the distance and clinches. A quick uppercut on the inside from Magumbo. A short right hand to the side of the head by Magumbo. Magumbo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Magumbo gets through Riggins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Magumbo holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Magumbo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Magumbo stops a takedown attempt from Riggins.
Riggins is trying to drag Magumbo to the mat but Magumbo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. With the fighters up against the cage, Magumbo throws an elbow but misses. Riggins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Magumbo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Riggins's body to avoid the submission. Riggins has instead reached around Magumbo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Riggins arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

#R1# Bastard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Riggins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bastard lands a really nice looking cross but Riggins seems unphased.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that's the end of the fight! Lazy Bastard showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bastard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Riggins's coach down at Area51 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Riggins's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Riggins tries to pull guard but Assunsao holds him up against the cage and eventually Riggins drops back down to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
