Dylan Gord seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Gord gets a clinch. Gord is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Hickman tries to pull guard but Gord won't allow it.
Hickman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

#R1# Hickman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hickman staying out of range there. A looping hook to the body misses from Hickman. King does a little dance to reset his feet. King cracks Hickman with a hook to the temple - Hickman is on wobbly legs here! King swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Hickman falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! King wins by TKO!

A jab lands there for Schmeler. Hickman finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Schmeler's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Hickman falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

#R1# Mackre tries for a takedown but Hickman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A quick step to the side and Hickman tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.#CL2# Mackre clinches with his opponent.
#TD2# Mackre ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mackre no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hickman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hickman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mackre working a defensive guard here.

#R1# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bob.#TD# Hickman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bob is trying to defend but Hickman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bob has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hickman is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hickman tries to stand and escape but Bob is controlling the position. Hickman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hickman scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Bob wants to get back to his feet.
#T1# Hickman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hickman defends it well. Mueller is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Hickman controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dwojacki working the ground and pound. Dwojacki lands a strong strike to the head of Hickman. That's dazed him! Dwojacki looking to finish here. Hickman is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Dwojacki lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
