Giou moves away from the strike by Clerence.
Giou dives in and grabs Clerence's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clerence pushes down on Giou's head and hops out.
Giou closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clerence circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luka Giou. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Giou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clerence as he jumps to the side.
Giou really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Clerence lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Giou is looking to close the distance but Clerence sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Giou crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Giou is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

We've been informed that Clerence has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
