#R1# Nine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grasman swivels and escapes. It seemed like Grasman was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grasman moves away. Nine misses the shot to the body. Nine looks to throw the jab but Grasman is out of range. Grasman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Nine tries to clinch up. A little jabbing left from Grasman on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A big right from Grasman misses. Nine gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Grasman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Nine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Grasman avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soyster Nine. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grasman cracks Nine with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Nine shoots and misses and Grasman counters with a lovely straight right hand!#T1# Nine goes for a double leg but Grasman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grasman continues to drive forward. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Grasman! But no joy. Nine takes a jab right on the kisser.

Grasman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. #TD# Nine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grasman did well to prevent Nine getting side control. Grasman wants to improve his position but Nine is controlling well.
Grasman has his hands clasped together around Nine's back. He's all about the action. Nine trying to control the action but Grasman is working from the bottom. #SUB# Nine is looking for a kimura here.

That was a close round but I would say that Soyster Nine will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. Nine's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Grasman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nine scrambles back to his feet. Nine with a lazy takedown attempt and Grasman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. ThorHGH Grasman seems to be getting the better of the standup. Grasman throws an uppercut from hell that sends Nine clean off his feet! He's out cold! Grasman stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

#R1# Whymer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Whymer lands a jab to the nose.#KD2# Whymer cracks Nine with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nine looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Whymer finish him?
#ROC2# Nine is rocked! Whymer has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Nine is landing a low percentage of strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Whymer avoids it really well and circles away. Oh Nine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nine missing with a left hand there. Whymer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nine seems to have got his legs back now.#TD# Nine shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nine was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Whymer is not content to let Nine control the position. Who's going to make the next move? #R1# Nine is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A punch lands to the side of Nine 's head but he takes it in his stride. Nine throws an off balance right hand
#KD# and Webb counters with a nice right hand that sends Nine toppling to the canvas! Nine scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Webb finish him?!#ROC# Nine is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Soyster Nine has been cut. Nine with a poor takedown and Webb counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nine is still on wobbly legs! Can Webb finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nine waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Webb. A punch lands to the side of Webb 's head but he takes it in his stride. Nine seems to have recovered his senses. Webb wobbles Nine with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Webb dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Nine to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Our winner, Alika Webb, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. and Brent counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CUT2# It looks like Soyster Nine has been cut. Soyster Nine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Nine moves into the clinch. Nine misses with a hook from the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Brent.

Nine tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brent wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nine tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Brent presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nine wants to hold on but Brent pushes him away. Nine is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brent is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Nine is in all sorts of trouble here.

We've been hearing good reports from Nine's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Brent hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Nine has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nine there as he acknowledges the shot. Nine throws the left hand but Arseworth avoids the punch easily. Arseworth avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nine defending well as Spaulding loads up on a big left hand. Nice sprawl there from Spaulding as Nine shoots in. A jab lands there for Spaulding. Spaulding fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Spaulding lands a slapping body shot.

#R1# Ali shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nine sprawls well. Nine wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ali gets slowly back to his feet.#CL2# Ali gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ali is trying to pull guard but Nine has him pressed against the cage. Nine misses with some punches.
I was talking to Nine's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Ali is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nine pulls him back up using the underhooks. Soyster Nine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scooby Ali. Ali is trying to drag Nine to the mat but Nine just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Ali escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bwang does a little dance to reset his feet. Bwang's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nine connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bwang scrambles back to his feet. Nine tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bwang was well out of range.
