#R1##CL2# Alkayaev clinches up with Volkov and pushes him back against the ropes.#BC# Volkov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Volkov blocks a head kick by Alkayaev.
Volkov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alkayaev.
Volkov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Volkov. Alkayaev tries to clinch but fails miserably and Volkov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A jab lands there for Volkov. Volkov scores with a body shot.
#CL2# Alkayaev clinches up with Volkov and pushes him back against the ropes. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Alkayaev. Alkayaev misses with the head strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#BC2# Alkayaev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alkayaev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Volkov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Volkov is looking to counter punch. Alkayaev misses with a combination
letting Volkov counter with a right hand. Volkov circles away from the clinch attempt and Volkov counters with a nice body shot. #T1# Alkayaev walks into a left hand. Timo Alkayaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Volkov batters Alkayaev with a massive right followed by a huge left! Alkayaev is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Volkov lands a final crushing right hand to drop Alkayaev to the mat with a gruesome thud! Volkov is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Test Volkov! After winning the bout, Test Volkov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1# Alkayaev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but El Toro paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alkayaev looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! El Toro lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
#TD# El Toro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Alkayaev is trying to defend but El Toro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Alkayaev is looking to get back to is feet but El Toro passes into side control.
El Toro cracks Alkayaev with an elbow. That is naaassty. Alkayaev taking a bit of punishment here - El Toro scoring with strikes. Alkayaev being controlled for a moment. El Toro scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Alkayaev is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and El Toro can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

#R1# Obermueller with a hook. Obermueller definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#CL# Obermueller clinches up against the ropes. Obermueller comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. #CUT# It looks like Timo Alkayaev has been cut. Obermueller misses with a knee strike.
Alkayaev fails to pull guard.
Alkayaev misses with a knee to the head. Alkayaev tries to pull guard but Obermueller forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Obermueller tries to throw a body punch but Alkayaev avoids it by throwing Obermueller back against the ropes. Alkayaev jumps guard but Obermueller turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. Bernd Obermueller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timo Alkayaev. Obermueller comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Obermueller gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Obermueller lands an elbow that stopped Alkayaev in his tracks for a moment. #ROC# Alkayaev is rocked! Obermueller throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Alkayaev is still on wobbly legs! Can Obermueller finish him? With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Obermueller just misses with a elbow thrown towards Alkayaev's brow. Alkayaev dodges an elbow strike from Obermueller.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Obermueller throws an elbow that misses.
Obermueller looks to throw an elbow but misses. Alkayaev blocks an elbow strike. Obermueller throws 2 knees - Alkayaev can't escape Obermueller's clinch. As Alkayaev tries to escape again Obermueller whips his head left to meet with another knee! That's knocked out Alkayaev's gum shield and as Alkayaev falls to the floor, the referee steps in to end the fight!
