Virtanen arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Boyka's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Petersen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boyka half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Petersen misses with a wild combination.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Petersen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Petersen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boyka.
Petersen looks to score with a jab to the body but Boyka is just out of range.
Petersen lands with an overhand left.
Boyka on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Petersen but Petersen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boyka definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Darrel Petersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petersen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boyka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Petersen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Boyka was covering up waiting for the punch and Petersen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Petersen is taking a breather. Boyka says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boyka tries to get into range but Marco steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Boyka! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Marco scores the big KO victory!
