Pierre takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pierre drops his hands for a split second and Popkov immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Pierre face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Popkov follows up with a right hand that knocks Pierre into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Sobieski has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Popkov is landing a low percentage of strikes. Sobieski misses with a low kick. Sobieski scores with a leg kick.

Sobieski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Popkov was well out of range. Poor timing from Sobieski. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. An elbow from Sobieski crashes against the mat.
