We've been hearing reports that Abs has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Banks looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Abs obliges. Banks looks winded! Banks backing away here, and Musa unleashes a leg kick that just misses. John Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Banks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Musa counters with a slapping leg kick. Banks lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
