Clarke appears to be looking for a big counter. Clarke shoots in for a takedown but Woods shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Woods follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Woods tries to clinch but Clarke is having none of it. Woods is looking to score with low kicks.#TD2# Clarke tries to sprawl but Woods drives through with a takedown into half guard. Woods slows the pace down in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clarke wants to control the action here but instead Woods manages to pass to full mount! Clarke takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.#T1##SUB2# Woods is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Clarke is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Clarke flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Woods anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Clarke and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Woods slips an arm under Clarke chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Woods has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Woods is squeezing on Clarke like an anaconda would it's prey. Clarke fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

and Rodriguez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A looping hook to the body misses from Clarke. Rodriguez does a little dance to reset his feet. Clarke doesn't manage to clinch there - Rodriguez circles away.
Rodriguez attempts a counter takedown but Clarke avoids it well and moves away. Rodriguez slaps away a takedown attempt from Clarke, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rodriguez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Rodriguez. No joy for Clarke on that attempt. Clarke tries for a takedown but Rodriguez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Juan Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devon Clarke. Rodriguez blocks a head kick by Clarke.

Meneghetti thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Clarke to his feet! Clarke is in big trouble!#ROC2# Clarke is rocked!#TD2# Meneghetti is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Clarke's half guard. Clarke pushes Meneghetti off but Meneghetti dives into side control.
Oh Clarke is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#SUB2# Meneghetti thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Clarke seems to have got his legs back now. This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB2# Meneghetti has hold of Clarke's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Brubaker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Clarke's head. Brubaker with a body punch. A glancing blow. Clarke is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Brubaker blocks a low kick nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from Brubaker. Clarke does a little dance to reset his feet.#TD# Brubaker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clarke's guard. Clarke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brubaker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Brubaker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brubaker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Clarke keeping moving, preventing Brubaker from controlling successfully. Clarke throws a big counter combination but Meneghetti scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Meneghetti. Clarke managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Meneghetti.
Clarke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Meneghetti wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #SUB2# Meneghetti is working to tighten his grip on Clarke's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Clarke has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Meneghetti is really squeezing tight and eventually Clarke passes out! Meneghetti breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Clarke is looking to control El Derabani's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clarke avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. El Derabani lands a nice short elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Clarke lands a head kick. Volkanovski smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Clarke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Volkanovski seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Volkanovski lands a nice looking body shot.
#TD# Volkanovski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clarke was covering up waiting for the punch and Volkanovski finishes the takedown easily into guard. Volkanovski controlling from the top position. Volkanovski's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Volkanovski in particular looking to stall.#SUB# Volkanovski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
