A short right from Yaj on the inside. #CUT2# It looks like Vitaliy Mitin has been cut. Yaj misses with the head strike.
Mitin goes for a takedown attempt but Yaj pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Yaj fails in his attempt to clinch. A jab lands there for Yaj. Mitin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Yaj fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mitin manages to avoid it. Mitin tries to counter with a takedown but Yaj is quick to defend against it. Yaj tries to clinch there but Mitin circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yaj looks to land a left hand but Mitin moved out of range nicely. Mitin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Mitin throws out a loose jab but Yaj uses good head movement to avoid it. Decent striking displayed by Yaj there. Mitin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Yaj is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Yaj is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Yaj can't do much from the bottom here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rasputin tries to get out of the position. Mitin lands a nice forearm strike. Mitin advances to mount. Mitin is landing with some decent strikes but Rasputin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.#SUB2# Mitin working for a guillotine from mount but Rasputin is in no mood to give up. Mitin landing shots from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mitin dominating with strikes here.#SUB2# Mitin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rasputin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rasputin shrugs it off. #T1# Mitin scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Rasputin?

Namuhoranye attempts a counter takedown but Mitin avoids it well and moves away. Mitin loads up on a big right hand but Namuhoranye slips the punch. Namuhoranye throws a leg kick that is checked#TD2# and Mitin counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Namuhoranye! Namuhoranye parries the strikes from Mitin easily there. Mitin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Namuhoranye to escape.
Mitin is staying tight to Namuhoranye's torso, preventing him from escaping. Mitin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Namuhoranye down.

#R1# Mitin shoots in looking for a takedown. Rasputin tries to sprawl out of it but Mitin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rasputin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mitin moves out of range as Rasputin strikes. Mitin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Mitin defending well as Rasputin loads up on a big left hand. Rasputin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Rasputin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mitin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mitin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Rasputin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Mitin seems to have got his legs back now. BOOM! Rasputin lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mitin. Mitin tries to recover but Rasputin is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mitin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
