Penn throws a body punch but Borders moves out of range.

Penn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Penn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Penn's corner calls for a 1-2. Penn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Penn. Borders does a little dance to reset his feet.

Rodriguez walks into a straight right hand from Borders.
Borders throws a sloppy head kick and Rodriguez moves out of range easily.
Rodriguez looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rodriguez tries a head kick but it misses.
Borders went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rodriguez.

Borders lands a nice shot that snaps Rodriguez's head back.
Borders blocks a head kick by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throws the kick towards the body but Borders avoids it.
Fernando Rodriguez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borders closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Rodriguez out cold! Rodriguez corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Borders moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT2#
It looks like John Doe has been cut.
Borders displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Doe.
Doe tries to land a leg kick but Borders saw it coming and moves away.
Borders will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Freddy Borders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borders throws a lazy right hand but Doe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Borders pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Borders connects with a right that clearly hurt Doe. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Borders proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Doe collapses and taps out under the pressure!
