Horrible takedown attempt by Thornton or perhaps it was just good defense by Daka, which made it look bad. The fight stays on the outside here - Daka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Thornton. Thornton working the ground and pound. Thornton working the body and head with strikes. Daka pushes Thornton away and creates a bit of space to escape. And that's the end of the fight! Billy Bob Thornton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Thornton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Dunn swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Dunn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dunn wants it to stay on the feet. Dunn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Dunn swings for the body but Daka moves out of range.
Dunn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Daka drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dunn sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daka shoots in looking for a takedown but Dunn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ra Daka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daka takes one on the button.#CUT2# Ra Daka's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Nice straight punches there by Dunn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dunn. Dunn cracks Daka with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Daka tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dunn pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Daka is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
