Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ismail is trying to push Hohenheime away but Hohenheime has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Hohenheime fails to pull guard.
#TD# Ismail gets a trip takedown into half guard. Ismail stops Hohenheime from getting back to his feet.
Hohenheime won't allow Ismail to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ismail thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hohenheime's head. Hohenheime is trying to control but can't.
#SUB# Ismail in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hohenheime tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ismail!

#R1# Hohenheime dives in for a single leg takedown but Ismail sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Ismail appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Hohenheime tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ismail sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hohenheime somewhat.#TD2# Hohenheime feints and as Ismail raises his hands in defense, Hohenheime changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SUB# Ismail has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hohenheime doesn't defend quickly enough and Ismail has managed to lock this one up! Can Hohenheime escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ismail on a fantastic submission victory.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#ES2# Akintan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. #BC2# Akintan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Akintan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hohenheime is looking for a counter combo. Akintan throws a head kick that Hohenheime semi-blocks.
#CUT2# It looks like Von Hohenheime has been cut.#TD# Hohenheime closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Akintan's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Akintan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hohenheime is controlling him. Hohenheime working some strikes from top position. Akintan keeping moving, preventing Hohenheime from controlling successfully. Hohenheime has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. #R1# Hohenheime staying out of range there. Hohenheime swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Plummer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.#TD# Hohenheime shoots in for a takedown and gets it.#ES2# Plummer pushes Hohenheime off and gets back to his feet. Sloppy strikes from Plummer. Those never looked like landing. Hohenheime has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#CUT2# It looks like Von Hohenheime has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick misses from Plummer. #TD# Plummer gets caught napping as Hohenheime dives in and scores a takedown. Plummer manages to retain guard. Plummer looking to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hohenheime is working hard here to advance position. Hohenheime is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Plummer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. That was a close second round but I would say that Von Hohenheime will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Von Hohenheime's cut.
