Ramesha has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.#TD# Ramesha tightens his grip and picks Makwame up, before dumping him to the ground. Makwame manages to land in guard. Makwame tries to land a sweep but no joy. Makwame has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Holding Cell. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Ramesha throws a big elbow that misses. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ramesha has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Mawe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mawe wants it to stay on the feet. Ramesha fails with the takedown and Mawe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Mawe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Ramesha takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Aslan Ramesha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Mawe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mawe tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Mawe wants to control but Ramesha is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. After the fight, Watsz Mawe was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Makkonen wants to control but Ramesha passes easily into half guard.

Bouazzizi cracks Ramesha with a good jab. Bouazzizi connects with a solid leg kick. Ramesha shoots in looking for a takedown. Bouazzizi tries to sprawl out of it but Ramesha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bouazzizi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bouazzizi lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice body kick from Bouazzizi. Ramesha steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bouazzizi. That one must have hurt. Bouazzizi throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. #T1# A solid body kick from Bouazzizi. Ramesha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Good leg kick by Bouazzizi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ramesha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Iceman but Iceman pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ramesha dodges the punch combination from Iceman .

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Iceman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ramesha. Ramesha has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lewis's body.
Ramesha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ramesha lands shots from the back.
