A jab from Solano misses.
Roma tried to counter with a leg kick but Solano avoided it.
The fighters circling - Solano throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Roma wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Solano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Solano lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Solano lands a big head kick that sends Roma to the canvas! Solano follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andres Solano!
In defeat, Travis Roma stepped up to the mic, saying 'I can't believe I just lost, this is honestly so hard on me. This might just be my last fight'.

Zonta wants the takedown. Roma is fighting it off but Zonta persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Roma's guard against the cage.

Zonta distracts Roma with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big strike lands for Zonta! That's really hurt Roma and he's turned his back - Zonta keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Zonta jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Pew closes the distance looking to clinch
and Roma counters with a one-two to the body.
Pew darts in looking for a takedown but Roma gets double underhooks and turns Pew into the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Roma's coach down at Jitsu Jim was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Roma's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Horrible takedown attempt by Canning or perhaps it was just good defense by Roma, which made it look bad.
Canning takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. #CL#

Canning throws a wild hook but Roma just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Canning gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Roma raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
