#R1# Rasputin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rasputin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blue avoids it really well and circles away. Blue drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rasputin defends it well. Rasputin tries to move into range but Blue moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Blue lands a lovely overhand right. Rasputin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rasputin shoots for a takedown but Blue saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rasputin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blue tries to avoid it but Rasputin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blue to the ground. Blue escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karol Rasputin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rasputin trying to control the position from guard on top but Fujita is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rasputin throws a big right hand that misses. Fujita keeping moving, preventing Rasputin from controlling successfully. Fujita has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fujita is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rasputin is controlling him. Fujita is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Rasputin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rasputin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rasputin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rasputin in side control, throwing shots but Mayhem defends. Mayhem defending against the ground and pound. Rasputin throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Rasputin throws an elbow but Mayhem slips to the side and avoids it well. Rasputin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. He's got his arms around Mayhem's waist but Mayhem gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rasputin off to one side. #TD2# Rasputin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mayhem was covering up waiting for the punch and Rasputin finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB# Mayhem escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar.
