#R1# LaRocca lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Haymaker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Haymaker misses with a body shot.

LaRocca fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Haymaker checks it well. LaRocca connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Haymaker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but LaRocca circles away quickly and effectively. LaRocca scores with a punch to the head. LaRocca uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Haymaker. Haymaker throws a body shot but no joy. LaRocca thuds his right hand into Haymaker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice uppercut there from LaRocca. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! LaRocca lands with a right hand. LaRocca connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.#ROC2# Haymaker is rocked! Haymaker walks straight into a right hand from LaRocca - that's dropped him! LaRocca jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Haymaker from any more punishment! Haymaker complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

#R1# LaRocca connects with a nice looking jab.
#TD2# LaRocca gets the takedown into side control. #ES# Delaet explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! #TD2# LaRocca darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Delaet is trying to maintain the position but LaRocca is very close to passing his half guard.#ES# Delaet has one foot on LaRocca's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. LaRocca sizes up Delaet with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. LaRocca dives in and grabs Delaet's left leg, looking for a takedown. Delaet pushes down on LaRocca's head and hops out. As LaRocca backs away, Delaet returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. LaRocca paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Delaet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

LaRocca is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.#T1# LaRocca lands with an uppercut that bounces Delaet off the cage and back into range. Delaet swings and misses with a hook to the body.

LaRocca was covering up waiting for the punch and Delaet finishes the takedown easily into guard. #T2# Delaet controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Delaet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SU# Delaet gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #CL# Delaet darts in and clinches LaRocca up against the cage. Delaet is pressed up against the cage. LaRocca has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Delaet down to the mat. Delaet avoids the attempt though and has circled away. LaRocca is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Delaet had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Delaet misses with a jab, cross combination.
LaRocca swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. LaRocca shoots and misses and Delaet connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Delaet shoots in but no luck this time. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. LaRocca lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Delaet stuffs the takedown. Delaet looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? LaRocca is fending him off so far but Delaet persists. Nope, LaRocca circles away and we're back to standing. LaRocca slips a jab and a cross from Delaet.

That was a close round but I would say that Graeme Delaet will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# LaRocca shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Delaet pinned against the cage. Delaet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #TD# Delaet closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. LaRocca quickly recovers to half guard.#ES2# LaRocca manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Delaet keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Delaet is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. The referee is keeping an eye on Delaet - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. LaRocca tries to circle away but Delaet has him pinned against the cage. Delaet has LaRocca pressed against the cage, preventing LaRocca from circling away and getting back to striking at range. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! LaRocca has his hands clasped together but Delaet extends and breaks LaRocca's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Delaet.

#R1# Marcus fails to land the takedown. Giovanni LaRocca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marcus dives in for a single leg takedown but LaRocca sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Marcus shoots in but no luck this time. Giovanni LaRocca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Marcus. LaRocca with a nice cross. LaRocca lands a two punch combo.
LaRocca lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.#ROC# Marcus is rocked! Marcus gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! LaRocca points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Marcus wakes up just in time to hear LaRocca thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
