Lester looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Whelan is defending well. Lester quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Whelan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lester celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Marlon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lester feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
