Lester throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot. #TD2# Gracie gets caught napping as Lester dives in and scores a takedown. Gracie manages to retain guard.#SUB# Gracie throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lester looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #SUB# Lester got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lester has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted. Lester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whelan looking for a sweep. Not yet Whelan, not yet. Whelan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lester's guard. #REVR# Whelan trying to control the position from guard on top but Lester is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB2# Lester looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Whelan is defending well. Lester quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Whelan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lester celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

#R1# Lester is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marlon. Marlon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lester with the counter takedown but Marlon avoids it easily. Lester takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Marlon keeping moving, preventing Lester from controlling successfully. #SUB2# Lester is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Marlon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Marlon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lester doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lester manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #R1# Lock lands a jab to Lester's midsection. Lester fails with the takedown. Lester dives in for a single leg takedown but Lock sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lester thows a left - swing and a miss! Lester avoids the head kick by Lock.
Lester has his takedown stuffed and Lock counters with a stiff right hand. Ryan Lock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devon Lester. Lock moves out of range of the strikes. Lock slips a straight right by Lester. Lester circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lock is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lock goes for a double leg but Lester avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lester continues to drive forward.#T3# Lester misses with a lunging right hand

Lester takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
#CUT2# It looks like Devon Lester has been cut.#TD# Lester feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lester might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB# Lester drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lester seems to have locked his on tight now - Prion screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lester, as he picks up the win!

Lester gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lester takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Santiago connects with a body shot that sends Lester's belly button to the back. Lester misses with a takedown enabling Santiago to counter with a crisp jab. Santiago scores with a nice head shot. Lester defending well as Santiago loads up on a big left hand. Lester shoots in for a takedown but Santiago shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devon Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him. Santiago connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lester momentarily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lester swivels though and keeps the full guard. #SUB2# Power avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
