Mcintosh went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Kaspen throws a leg kick and Mcintosh counters with a two punch combo. Mcintosh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#TD2# Kaspen scores with a takedown into Mcintosh's guard. Kaspen showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kaspen wants to control from the top but Mcintosh keeps moving. Kaspen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #T1# Mcintosh keeping full guard, as Kaspen tries to pass. Mcintosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaspen scoring with some ground and pound. Kaspen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mcintosh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mcintosh is pulling down on Kaspen's head. It's preventing any offense from Kaspen, at least for the moment. Kaspen looking to sit in guard and control but Mcintosh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. As Altini looks to move away, Mcintosh throws a big counter combo but Altini just gets out of the way. Altini looks to land a combination. Mcintosh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#CUT2# It looks like Giuseppe Mcintosh has been cut. Altini moves in looking to clinch but Mcintosh pushes him off. Altini lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mcintosh backs up against the cage.
Altini tries to bum rush Mcintosh with a series of wild strikes but Mcintosh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mcintosh on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Altini. Altini obviously looking to wear him down.
A jab from Altini does it's job there. Altini throws a series of punches but Mcintosh moves out of range. Mcintosh really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Altini fails in his attempt to clinch. McGee tries to move to mount but Mcintosh blocks the move with his legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcintosh manages to get back to half guard.#T1# McGee is stalling here. Mcintosh is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McGee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mcintosh has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Mcintosh gets to mount! The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As Mcintosh backs off Smith throws a huge counter combo but Mcintosh manages to avoid it all. Mcintosh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Smith throws a low kick but Mcintosh avoids it. Mcintosh went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Smith throws a series of strikes that have Mcintosh backpedaling.
#TD2# Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.#T4# Mcintosh pulls Smith in close to his closed guard and prevents Smith from doing any damage or advancing position. Mcintosh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Smith throws a big right hand that misses. Smith throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcintosh works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mcintosh keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcintosh managing to control the position.

#R1##TD2# Frank is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mcintosh's half guard. Mcintosh controlling the position well. Mcintosh moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcintosh is controlling Frank's posture. Mcintosh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mcintosh continues to stall.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
