Hudson shoots in and drives through. Liu sprawls well.
Saul Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hudson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liu swivels and escapes.
Liu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Liu lands with a kick to the temple. Hudson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT#
It looks like Saul Hudson has been cut.
Hudson fails with the takedown.

Wu Cao leaves Hudson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hudson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wu Cao tries to avoid it but Hudson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wu Cao to the ground. Wu Cao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wu Cao steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hudson.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wu Cao or perhaps it was just good defense by Hudson, which made it look bad.
Hudson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wu Cao defends it nicely.

Ahr connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hudson momentarily.
Ahr's corner calls for a 1-2. Ahr obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ahr has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
