#R1##TD# Thompson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rhj did well to prevent Thompson getting side control. Thompson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Thompson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rhj avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Thompson . Thompson working the head and body with strikes. Rhj tries to kick Thompson off but Thompson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Thompson scoring with strikes to the body and head. Thompson thows a huge punch but Rhj dodges it nicely.
Thompson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Thompson drops an elbow to the side of Rhj's head. #ROC# Rhj is rocked! Thompson lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Rhj! More strikes land and this one is all over! Thompson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

#TD# Rhj bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Volto struggling a bit here. Rhj knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Volto on the ground. Rhj scores with a couple of short elbows. Rhj is looking to take a break and control but Volto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Volto tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Volto is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.#SUB2# Volto is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rhj pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Volto trying to control here.

#R1# Rhj looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perry is fending him off so far but Rhj persists. Nope, Perry circles away and we're back to standing. Rhj moves in looking to clinch but Perry pushes him off. No luck for Perry with that takedown attempt. Rhj misses with a low kick. Perry is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Rhj moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
