Jab from Denovan.#CL# Denovan clinches. Denovan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dervisevic's efforts to push away. A frustrated look appears on Dervisevic's face as he tries to break the clinch. We've been hearing reports that Denovan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Dervisevic drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Denovan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
#BC# Denovan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dervisevic fails to land the takedown. Denovan throws a big counter combination but Dervisevic scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dervisevic has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#KD# Denovan lands a big head kick that sends Dervisevic tumbling to the mat! Denovan takes a step backwards and waves Dervisevic back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT# It looks like Mehmed Dervisevic has been cut.#T1# Dervisevic moves forwards but Denovan connects with a nice, crisp jab.#CL# Denovan instigates a clinch. Denovan prevents the takedown attempt.
Jett Denovan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mehmed Dervisevic. Dervisevic wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dervisevic is trying to push Denovan away but Denovan has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Denovan stalls. Dervisevic wants to stall.

#R1# Dervisevic slaps away a takedown attempt from Hradek, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dervisevic throws a counter combo. Dervisevic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
#CL2# Dervisevic closes the distance and pushes Hradek back into the cage. Dervisevic drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
#TD# Hradek has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dervisevic uses from the top position. Hradek is trying to keep Dervisevic in close.
Hradek keeping moving, preventing Dervisevic from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dervisevic missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dervisevic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#T1##SUB2# Dervisevic drops back looking for a leg! Hradek is in trouble here! Dervisevic is trying to control the action in half guard but Cronin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. #SUB2# Dervisevic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dervisevic thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dervisevic wants to stand but Cronin has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
