Texas takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nice body punch from Takamura. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Takamura. Texas shrugs it off though. That kick from Takamura tenderised Texas's leg. Texas is trying to keep his angry face on. No joy there for Texas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A decent looking cross lands there for Takamura. Texas defending well as Takamura loads up on a big left hand. The crowd cheers as Takamura lands an impressive looking overhand right. Texas doesn't seem phased though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takamura throws a body shot but no joy. Takamura chopping away at his opponent's legs.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Texas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#T1# Texas swinging wildly here.

Takamura lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Takamura thows a body kick. Texas tries to catch it but that hurt him. Takamura lands a jab to the head.

Lothbrook steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Texas. Lothbrook throws a looping overhand right but Texas ducks down to avoid it. Lothbrook takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lothbrook has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#CUT#It looks like Ivar Lothbrook has been cut. Nice defenses there by Texas. Lothbrook uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Texas. Texas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Texas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lothbrook on the side of the head. Texas moves out of range of the strikes. The fighters circling - Texas throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Texas misses with a hook. Lothbrook misses with a lunging right hand

A short body shot lands from Zwirn as the two fighters clinch.

Texas shoots for a double leg takedown but Zwirn sprawls well. He's pushed Texas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Texas misses with a few strikes there.

I was talking to Zwirn's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Frederick Zwirn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Texas. Zwirn lands with a short shot to the head. Texas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zwirn walks away with a smile on his face. Texas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Texas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Zwirn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#CL# Zwirn pushes Texas up against the cage in a clinch. Come on Zwirn - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
