Law drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Law jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Higgins lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Higgins misses with a hook. Matsuzaka ducked under it nicely.
Matsuzaka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Higgins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Matsuzaka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Higgins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Higgins throws a hook but McGregor blocks it.

Higgins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McGregor was covering up waiting for the punch and Higgins finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB2#
McGregor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Higgins is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McGregor.

Higgins is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. McGregor has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Higgins has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! McGregor taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Higgins doesn't care though - he's delighted!
