Richards would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Haynes wants to get back to his feet but Richards is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Richards gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Haynes tries for a takedown but Richards sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Haynes on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kilby lands a jab. Kilby connects with a leg kick. Haynes looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kilby tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Haynes. Kilby throws a head kick that Haynes semi-blocks.
#CUT# It looks like Josh Haynes Haynes has been cut. Haynes fails with the takedown. Kilby pivots, looking for a leg kick but Haynes is out of range and Kilby settles back down. We've been informed that Haynes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A jab from Kilby misses. Kilby looks to land a left hand but Haynes moved out of range nicely. Kilby swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mongrel lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Mongrel celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
