Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Yuri Gagarin was cancelled. |

Rousseau gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kiss counters with a crisp right that sends Rousseau to the canvas! Kiss follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD# Rousseau gets a takedown into half guard. Chan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Rousseau works his way into full mount! Rousseau looking to finish Chan with some ground and pound. This is bad for Chan! Rousseau tries to control but Chan wriggling away. Chan working to try and regain half guard.
Chan flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
#SUB# Rousseau has control of Chan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Rousseau looking to secure an arm triangle but Chan defends it well. Nope, Chan has managed to escape the submission attempt.
