The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratana shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Serra sprawls well. Serra wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ratana gets slowly back to his feet.
Ratana misses with an attempted mid kick. #TD2#
Serra closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Serra perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Serra might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T1#
Ratana tries to get to full guard but Serra has control of the leg.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Serra shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ratana but Ratana pushes him off and we're back to square one.#TD2#

Serra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ratana is just riding it out for now. Serra eventually gives up the hold.

Serra manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ratana on his heels. He'll look to pass Ratana's guard now, I'm sure.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Serra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ethan Serra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Serra winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dawn scores with a jab to the jaw.#CUT#It looks like Ethan Serra has been cut.
Serra takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dawn scores with a nice right hand.
Serra gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Dawn gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Black Dawn!
