Paulik swings widly with a right hand
and Whittaker counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Whittaker tests Paulik's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Paulik ducks right into an uppercut from Whittaker.
Paulik looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Whittaker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Paulik's head backwards.
Paulik has a takedown stuffed.
It seemed like Whittaker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Whittaker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Paulik with a poor takedown
and Whittaker counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Paulik fails to land the takedown.
Whittaker now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Paulik. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Whittaker lands a really nice looking cross but Paulik seems unphased.
Whittaker jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bridges throws a right hand that Whittaker ducks under and follows up with a left that Whittaker also avoids with ease.#CL#
Bridges rushes Whittaker and presses him up against the cage.

Bridges breaks the clinch.
Bridges shoots in but no luck this time.
Bridges shoots in for a takedown but Whittaker shows good takedown defense.

Bridges tries to clinch but Whittaker is having none of it.

and Whittaker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bridges thinking.
Whittaker thuds a left hand into Bridges's body.
Whittaker batters Bridges with a massive right followed by a huge left! Bridges is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Whittaker lands a final crushing right hand to drop Bridges to the mat with a gruesome thud! Whittaker is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
