Kengo shoots in looking for a takedown. Xengana tries to sprawl out of it but Kengo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Xengana manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kengo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Xengana tries to avoid it but Kengo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Xengana to the ground. Xengana escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kengo lands a head kick. Xengana smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #CUT2#It looks like Likho Xengana has been cut.
Xengana is looking to clinch but Kengo is avoiding it.
Xengana tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No joy there for Kengo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Xengana is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kengo or perhaps it was just good defense by Xengana, which made it look bad.
Likho Xengana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ibuki Kengo.
