Baked misses with a low kick.
Baked throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Baked clobbers Poirier with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Baked. Baked throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Baked fails with a takedown attempt. A combination from Baked does no damage. Poirier seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Poirier tries to clinch up. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Baked! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Poirier shoots in for a takedown but Baked shows good takedown defense. Baked throws a sloppy head kick and Poirier counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Baked wants to get back to full guard but Poirier has mounted him! Baked is bucking up trying to escape but Poirier cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Baked is trying desperately to improve position. Poirier cracks Baked with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Baked wants to get back to full guard but Poirier has passed into side control. Baked tries to buck Poirier off but Poirier is having none of it. Baked is breathing heavily.#SU# Poirier decides to stand back up. Poirier steps back and let's Baked get back to his feet. Poirier wants to clinch. As Poirier backs off Baked throws a huge counter combo but Poirier manages to avoid it all. Baked tries to clinch but Poirier moves out of range. Dominick Poirier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#T4# A looping hook to the body misses from Baked. Poirier does a little dance to reset his feet. Poirier throws a counter high kick but Baked was just alert enough to avoid it.#CL# Poirier closes the distance and pushes Baked back into the cage.#TD# Poirier manages to pull guard.

#R1##TD2# Baked looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hernandez! Hernandez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Baked prevents Hernandez from escaping the position. Hernandez is trying to improve his position. Baked lands some shots froms side control. Hernandez is looking to reverse the position. Baked lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hernandez down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Baked decides to stand back up. Baked steps back and let's Hernandez get back to his feet. Baked takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hernandez swinging wildly here.

Hernandez won't be happy with that. #T1# You can see the frustration on Hernandez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hernandez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. #CL# Guy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A shot in the inside from Guy. Guy misses with a body punch.
Guy scores with a hook to the body. Baked wants a takedown.
Guy lands a hook to the side of the head. Guy is leaning against Baked and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Baked is trying to maintain a safe position but Guy gets an underhook and turns Baked into the cage. Guy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy lands with a short shot to the head. Guy digs a right hand underneath Baked's ribcage. Baked let out a lung full of air as it connected. Guy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bakeds head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Guy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Baked backwards. Guy scores with a shot to the side of Baked's head. Baked is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Guy is defending well. Baked goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Guy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Baked backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Guy. Baked is still on wobbly legs! Can Guy finish him? Guy lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Guy. A short body shot lands from Guy as the two fighters clinch.
Baked seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice left hand lands by Guy.

Guy lands a nice shot to the body. Guy lands with a short shot to the head. Guy stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Good body shot from Guy.
Guy lands with a left to the head. Guy digs a right hand into Baked's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Baked's gas tank. A short right hand to the side of the head by Guy. Guy presses Baked against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Guy working some nice short punches in the clinch. Guy pushes Baked back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Guy lands a hook to the side of the head. Guy creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Baked's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Baked drops to his knees and Guy pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
