Kable lands a lovely overhand right.
Kable lands a nice hook to DeJohnette's body. DeJohnette takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kable ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kable rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and DeJohnette counters with a shoot takedown. Kable fights it but they end up in guard.
Kable is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
DeJohnette stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kable swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kable keeping moving, preventing DeJohnette from controlling successfully.

DeJohnette wants to pass the guard but Kable is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
DeJohnette tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

DeJohnette uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kable.

DeJohnette walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Kable swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Bukowski shoots in but DeJohnette avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bukowski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeJohnette's waist but DeJohnette gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bukowski off to one side.
DeJohnette tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bukowski is able to avoid easily.
DeJohnette misses with a low kick as Bukowski jumps back.#TD2#
Bukowski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. DeJohnette sprawls well initially but Bukowski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
DeJohnette regains full guard. Nicely done.
DeJohnette is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR#
DeJohnette wants to control but Bukowski is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bukowski is in a horrible position here. DeJohnette smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
DeJohnette won't let Bukowski get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

DeJohnette is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

It looks like DeJohnette might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

DeJohnette loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Alf scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from DeJohnette land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. DeJohnette stands and salutes the crowd.
