Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Barbu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Barbu can't do much from the bottom here.
Barbu tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Barbu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Barbu haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Barbu lands a nice shot that snaps Jackson's head back.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Barbu, which made it look bad.
Barbu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jackson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jackson throws the kick towards the body but Barbu avoids it.
Barbu lands a lovely overhand right.
Barbu dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Barbu! But no joy.
Barbu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barbu as he avoids it easily.
Barbu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Barbu has cracked Jackson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Barbu lands another huge swinging hook and Jackson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jackson, before Barbu can land any more shots!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barbu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Morrsion has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Morrsion and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
