Masten wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Masten lands with a good body shot. Masten scores with a shot to the body.
#CL2# Poodle moves into range and clinches up with Masten. Masten lands with a short head shot on the inside. Masten scores with a shot to the side of Poodle's head. Masten lands a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Masten throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Poodles head. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Masten lands an elbow just above Poodle 's eye. Masten landing knees to the body.

Masten creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Poodle! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Masten.

#R1# Poodle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wong. It looked like Wong was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Wong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Poodle. Poodle tries to counter with a clinch but Wong shakes him off and moves away. A slapping leg kick lands for Wong.
Wong keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wong pivots, looking for a leg kick but Poodle is out of range and Wong settles back down. Wong connects with an inside leg kick. A low kick from Wong misses #TD2# and Poodle counters with a shoot takedown. Wong fights it but they end up in guard. Poodle keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wong's head. Poodle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Poodle controls from within his opponent's guard. #SU2# Poodle stands up from guard. Let's bang! Wong could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wong circles away from the clinch attempt.

He's simply no match for Poodle on the ground. Wong being controlled here, momentarily. Poodle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Poodle content to stall in guard here. Poodle postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Poodle throws a big right hand that misses. #SUB2# Poodle drops back looking for a leg! Wong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wong manages to kick Poodle off! Poodle jumps back into Wong's guard. #T1# Poodle won't allow Wong to sweep him here. Wong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Poodle circles away quickly and effectively. Wong tries to land a body kick#TD# and Poodle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Poodle showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Poodle connects with a couple of short punches. Wong wants to get back to his feet but Poodle is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #SUB# Poodle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Wong being controlled here, momentarily. #SU# Poodle gets to his feet - Wong follows without any prompting. #T1# Wong lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Poodle at a distance.
Wong goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. No joy there for Wong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Poodle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wong should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. He's got his arms around Poodle's waist but Poodle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Veto Jr off to one side. Poodle takes a swing at Veto Jr's ribcage but misses. Veto Jr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Poodle moves out of range of the body kick from Veto Jr.

Poodle darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Poodle stuffs the takedown. Mister Poodle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra Jr. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Poodle. Serra Jr shrugs it off though. Poodle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Serra Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center. Danga de danga de dang - Poodle scores with a four punch combination! Poodle connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Serra Jr momentarily.

Poodle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cartwright swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cartwright feinted with a counter takedown.#TD2# Poodle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Poodle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cartwright tries to strike but it doesn't land.
