Decent striking displayed by Straka there. Todoroki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Straka paws at him with a jab and circles away. Straka throws out a powerful jab. We've been told by Straka's head coaches at Brloh that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A jab from Straka misses. Todoroki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A combination from Straka does no damage. Todoroki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Straka swivels and escapes. Straka connects with the punch. Straka throws a lazy right hand but Todoroki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Straka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Todoroki was well out of range. Poor timing from Straka. Todoroki is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Todoroki throws a jab but it's blocked by Straka. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A telegraphed right hand from Todoroki misses the target. Straka throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Todoroki sees it coming and avoids it easily. Todoroki drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Straka defends it well. Straka misses with an uppercut. #CL2# Todoroki drives through and clinches with Straka against the cage.

Lubor Straka is winning the standup battle so far. Todoroki takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Straka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Straka is trying to break the clinch but Cider has him pressed against the cage. Straka throws a head punch that misses. Cider content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Straka scores with a shot to the side of Cider's head. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Straka as Cider tries to tie him up. Straka wants to get back to striking at distance but Cider won't allow it.
Cider manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Cider blocking some punches.
Cider scores with a shoulder strike. Cider presses Straka against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. A bit of stalling here from Cider.
Cider works on Straka's body with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Straka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cider pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lubor Straka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Straka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Cider looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Straka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Straka shoots in for a double leg but Cider sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cider fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Straka on the side of the head.#T1# Straka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Straka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cider. #CL# Cider clinches with his opponent.
Cider keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Straka's efforts to push away. Straka wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cider has him pressed against the cage. Cider creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Straka's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Straka drops to his knees and Cider pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Sabatory is still in real trouble! Can Straka finish him? Straka works his way into side control. Sabatory is looking to regain half guard here but Straka keeps moving and retains side control. Straka scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sabatory is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Straka can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Nice defenses there by Ragnarson. Straka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ragnarson manages to avoid it. Straka on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Straka pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Straka fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Straka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ragnarson circles away quickly and effectively. Ragnarson pounces like a tiger and cracks Straka with a vicious hook! Straka is down but not out! Ragnarson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

#R1# Sabatory takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Straka darts in and out, connecting with a jab. #CUT2#It looks like Lou Sabatory has been cut. Sabatory changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Straka tries to avoid it but Sabatory manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Straka to the ground. Straka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sabatory takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sabatory is breathing heavily. Straka scores with a jab to the jaw. Straka's coach down at Brloh was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Straka's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sabatory switches off momentarily and Straka cracks him with a monster right hand! Sabatory topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Straka dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Straka!

Killstrike throws a leg kick which misses Straka's front leg but catches the back leg as Straka tries to avoid it. Straka misses with a hook. Killstrike ducked under it nicely. Lubor Straka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Straka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Killstrike moves away. Goldberg darts in looking for a takedown but Straka gets double underhooks and turns Goldberg into the cage. #TD2# Goldberg is fighting off a takedown attempt but Straka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Goldberg to the mat. Goldberg regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Goldberg wants to sweep but no luck. Goldberg on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Goldberg tries to get out of the position. Goldberg has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Straka preventing the sweep. Straka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. #SUB2# Straka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Goldberg is in big trouble! Reese dives in and grabs Straka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Straka pushes down on Reese's head and hops out. A slow jab from Straka misses its intended target. Reese fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Reese. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL# Reese instigates a clinch. Straka being controlled against the cage.#BC# Reese breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Straka keeps the fight on the outside. Straka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reese is fending him off so far but Straka persists. Nope, Reese circles away and we're back to standing. Straka shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Reese eats them both and turns towards Straka to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Straka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reese as he jumps to the side. #T1# Straka misses the jab. Straka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reese.
Reese is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Straka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Straka needs to keep his hands up - Jankens had a free shot at his head there. Straka looks to throw the jab but Jankens is out of range. Jankens fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Straka on the side of the head. Straka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jankens throws a shot to the body.
Straka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Straka throws a jab but it's blocked by Jankens. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jankens lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Lubor Straka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jankens tries to bum rush Straka with a series of wild strikes but Straka uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jankens uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Straka.
Jankens cracks Straka with a hook to the temple - Straka is on wobbly legs here! Jankens swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Straka falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Jankens wins by TKO!

Straka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. An attempted straight right counter from Montes misses the target.#CL2# Montes gets tackled into the cage by Straka. Straka maintains the clinch. Montes tries for a takedown. No joy.
Montes has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Straka avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Straka lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Straka lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Montes or not. Straka lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Montes. Montes has Straka pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Straka manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
