#R1# The fight stays on the outside here - Kiter looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kiter is defended easily by Nurmagomedov. Kiter moves to clinch but Nurmagomedov breaks away #TD# and Nurmagomedov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kiter is trying to get back to full guard. Kiter is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nurmagomedov controlling the action here. #R1# Lewis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lewis avoids the body shot from Kiter.
It looked like Lewis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.#TD# Lewis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kiter is trying to escape the position but Lewis is controlling the position. Lewis wants to stand but Kiter has his arm trapped. Lewis content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Lewis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kiter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kiter tries to bench press Lewis off him but Lewis keeps the position. #T1# Lewis working the head with strikes. Kiter is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lewis connects with a decent elbow. Kiter is looking to reverse the position. Kiter is trying to control Lewis's posture but Lewis avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Kiter wants to control but Lewis postures up. Lewis landing some decent shots from guard. #T2##SUB2# Lewis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kiter to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lewis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kiter pulls down on the head and he's put Lewis to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1# Mitts swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mitts looks to land a left hand but Kiter moved out of range nicely. Mitts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mitts wants it to stay on the feet. Mitts is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kiter. Kiter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mitts circles away. Kiter checks a low kick from Mitts. Kiter fails in his attempt to clinch. Kiter closes the distance looking to clinch #TD# and Mitts counters with a shoot takedown. Kiter fights it but they end up in guard. #SUB2# Kiter has his foot on Mitts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mitts works his way back into a safe position though.#SUB2# Kiter is looking for a triangle here but Mitts uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mitts controlling from the top position. Mitts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kiter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
