Clarkson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stupsokin defends it nicely. Clarkson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stupsokin circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Clarkson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stupsokin tries for a takedown but Clarkson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stupsokin is defended easily by Clarkson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stupsokin shoots in for a takedown but Clarkson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Stupsokin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. Stupsokin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stupsokin wants it to stay on the feet. Stupsokin wants to counter with a clinch but Clarkson pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stupsokin with a lazy takedown attempt and Clarkson counters with a three punch combo that has Stupsokin backing up. Stupsokin nods at Clarkson to acknowledge the strikes. Clarkson dives in and grabs Stupsokin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stupsokin pushes down on Clarkson's head and hops out. Stupsokin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A left and a right from Clarkson both land. Nice combination. Stupsokin leaves Clarkson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Clarkson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stupsokin but Stupsokin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stupsokin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Clarkson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Stupsokin's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stupsokin goes for a double leg but Clarkson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Clarkson continues to drive forward. Stupsokin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Stupsokin manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Stupsokin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A frustrated look appears on Clarkson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Stupsokin is pressed up against the cage. Clarkson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Andrew Stupsokin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Clarkson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Horrible takedown attempt by Stupsokin or perhaps it was just good defense by Clarkson, which made it look bad. John Clarkson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Stupsokin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clarkson is looking to get to half guard. John Clarkson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Andrew Stupsokin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.#SUB2# Stupsokin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
