Alexander on the wrong end of a nice hook. Alexander on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Scott. Scott obviously looking to wear him down.
A jab from Scott misses. Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch but Scott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Scott connects with a good right hand that stumbles Alexander. Alexander circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Alexander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Alexander fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Volyas walks straight into an uppercut. Scott throws a hook to the side of Sanchez's head but Sanchez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sanchez scores with a head kick.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Scott has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A right hook to the body lands for Scott.
Harden drops down looking for an ankle pick but Scott pulls his leg out and moves away.

Scott tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily and Johnson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Scott's knee momentarily. Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Scott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Scott chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Johnson can pounce on him.
#KD2# Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Scott sprawling to the canvas! Scott rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!

Scott misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Scott shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Scott badly! Johnson follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Scott out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Johnson finished him against the cage.

#R1# Scott cracks Pearce with a good jab. Scott looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Scott jabbing away but nothing is landing. Angus Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pearce lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Pearce shoots in but no luck this time. Scott lands a jab to the nose. Scott misses the jab. Pearce fails with a takedown attempt. Scott throws an overhand right that lands on Pearce's shoulder, as Pearce tries to avoid the shot. Pearce's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Scott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pearce scrambles back to his feet. Pearce fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Pearce. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pearce ducks under a wild hook from Scott. A jab from Scott finds it's way through Pearce's defenses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pearce is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Pearce is breathing heavily. Scott makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Pearce tries to work over Scott's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Scott lands an uppercut. Pearce misses with the head strike.

Pearce uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Scott. Scott cracks Pearce with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pearce tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Scott pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pearce is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

#R1# Wangting takes one on the chin but seems OK.
#CUT#It looks like Chen Wangting has been cut. Wangting looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#KD# Scott drops Wangting with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wangting looks back up at him and smiles so Scott waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Scott drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Wangting's head, knocking him out cold! Scott is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

#R1# The fight stays on the outside here - McCann looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A nice leg kick from McCann, right into the meat of the thigh.
Scott scores with a body shot.
Scott stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. McCann moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. McCann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scott.
McCann throws a head kick that Scott semi-blocks.
Scott scores with a decent looking hook. McCann takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.#ROC#McCann is rocked! No luck for McCann with that takedown attempt. McCann is still on wobbly legs! Can Scott finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Scott tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCann was well out of range. Poor timing from Scott. McCann seems to have recovered his senses.#KD# Scott lands a big uppercut and McCann crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McCann looks OK.
