The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Osborne has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Osborne and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Carp throws a lazy right hand but Shanks sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Carp throws a low kick but it's checked well by Shanks.
Carp looks to land a right hand but Shanks moved out of range.
Shanks looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Common Carp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shanks throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Carp definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shanks ducks under a wild hook from Carp.
Carp lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though. #CUT#It looks like Shoyoroll Shanks has been cut.

He tries to recover but Carp pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Shanks is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Balrog takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Carp fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Balrog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Balrog has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Carp looks to land a left hand but Balrog moved out of range nicely.
Carp bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Balrog's head.

Carp lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Deshpande up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Carp from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Deshpande's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
