Don changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Laime tries to bum rush Don with a series of wild strikes but Don uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Don attempts a counter takedown but Laime avoids it well and moves away. A punch combination from Laime misses. Don appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Laime takes a step backwards and waves Kong back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC#Kong is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Laime misses with a series of wild punches.
Kong unleashes a big counter combination but Laime bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Laime dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kong. That did some damage! Laime is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kong. Kong swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. The fight stays on the outside here - Laime looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kong appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Laime throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. #T1# Kong on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hatton works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hatton is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hatton trying to control the action but Laime is working from the bottom. Laime is looking to control Hatton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Laime avoid being mounted? Laime is looking for a sweep. Hatton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatton wants to free his trapped foot but Laime is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hatton is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Laime tries to get to full guard but Hatton has control of the leg. #T1# Hatton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
