#R1##TD2# Gaziev drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dixon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gaziev stays in close to Dixon's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gaziev stops Dixon from standing up. Gaziev sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gaziev won't allow Dixon to sweep him here. Gaziev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dixon trying to control the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.#T1# Gaziev is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#TD# Dixon gets a takedown into half guard. Gaziev is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gaziev is controlling Dixon's position as best he can from this difficult position. Dixon works his way into full mount! Gaziev working to try and regain half guard.
Dixon manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gaziev to take his back! Gaziev is keeping busy.
Gaziev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dixon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2##SUB# Dixon has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Gaziev tries to escape the position.
Gaziev trying to control the position but Dixon manages to sink in the hooks. Gaziev can't escape the position.
#SUB# Gaziev defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dixon's arms. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dixon punches Gaziev on the ear. Gaziev avoids the strikes from Dixon. #T3# Gaziev trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Dixon struggling to keep hold of the position.
#SUB# Dixon working for the choke. Gaziev trying to control but not successfully. Will Dixon go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Gaziev rolls, trying to escape but Dixon keeps control of the position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Dixon's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Gaziev tries to roll but Dixon sticks to his back.
#SUB# Dixon looking for the choke but no joy. #T4# Dixon keeps control of the position as Gaziev tries to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gaziev looks winded!#SUB# Dixon is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Gaziev has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dixon has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Gaziev taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dixon doesn't care though - he's delighted!
