Josh was born in Hamburg, Germany and was abandoned as a baby. He was soon adopted by a wealthy Japanese couple living in Tokyo because they thought it would be cool to have a white baby. Josh grew up in Tokyo and found boxing through friends at a young age. He started fighting Amateur at age 16 but was unable to represent Japan in the Olympics because he was white. At age 23 he turned to mma and after two quick KOs in the QFC, Josh is moving to Montreal to try and do this thing.
